Springtomize by iOS developer Filippo Bigarella is a highly-regarded jailbreak tweak in the jailbreak community because it brings so much power over customization into users' hands in a single jailbreak tweak. Bigarella made it known at the beginning of January that he was working hard on releasing Springtomize 3, the next version of Springtomize that would be compatible with iOS 7.
On Saturday, Springtomize 3 was officially released to the public via Cydia's BigBoss repository. The tweak is available as a $1.99 upgrade for owners of older versions of Springtomize, or as a $2.99 purchase for new buyers.
Springtomize 3 gives iOS 7 users customization over:
- iOS animations
- Features of the App Switcher
- Features of Control Center
- Features of the application dock
- Features of folders
- Features of application icons on the Home Screen
- Features of the Lock Screen
- Features of individual pages on the Home Screen
- Features of the Status Bar
The individual settings for each and every item are extensive. You can do things such as adjust animation speeds, hide and show icons or re-size application preview cards in the App Switcher, hide or show items in Control Center, hide and show items or change visual features of the application dock, add more functionality to your folders, hide and show items from your Home Screen and Lock Screen, hide and show items in the Status Bar, and more.
Each time the user makes changes to any of the settings in the tweak's application, or Settings application preferences pane, the user will need to respring the device for their changes to take effect.
It's not very difficult for us to recommend this tweak to just about anyone that has a jailbroken iOS 7 device. You'll find it in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now if you want to give it a whirl.
