If you find yourself creating notes to yourself often, whether they’re shopping lists, to-do lists, or something to remember for later, then you might find this new free add-on for Activator to be pretty useful.
by iOS developer JGTweaks is now available in Cydia's ModMyi repository, and allows you to create notes from anywhere with the simple use of an Activator action. When you invoke the Activator action of your choice, you will get a text field window, shown above, allowing you to input anything that you want to take note of.
After typing out your note's content, you can tap on the Cancel button to cancel the note, or the Done button to save your note. If you save your note, it will be available in the Notes application in iOS, where if you choose to cancel the note, it will be gone for good. The account button at the bottom of the text field allows you to choose whether you want the note only be stored on your iPhone, or on your iCloud account for all of your devices to have.
NoteCreator also adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure just a few useful options:
You will be able to choose whether or not you want to have a title field in your note, you can choose whether or not you want the keyboard to automatically appear when you use your Activator gesture or if you want to tap in the text field to invoke the keyboard, and you can choose to have the Cancel button save your note too.
NoteCreator appears to be a very solid way to create and save notes. It's fully compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit iOS devices, and runs on iOS 6 and later. If you want to give it a try, you'll find it for free in Cydia's ModMyi repository.
