  • 'AlarmRestrict7' Gives You Extra Control Over When Your Alarms in iOS 7 Go Off

For those that want to fine-tune when or when not for an alarm to go off on their iOS 7 device, there's a new free jailbreak tweak called AlarmRestrict7 by iOS developer Richard Lindsay available in Cydia that gives the user just a little extra control.

It's a very simple tweak and adds a preferences pane, shown above, to the Settings application for configuring when your alarms should not be allowed to go off.

From these settings, you can opt to make sure alarms don't go off:

    • When you have your device connected to an external power source
    • When you're using a Bluetooth device paired with your iOS device
    • When you have any kind of media playing

Users should exercise caution when using the tweak, as they have obviously implemented an alarm for a purpose and will have to be careful not to miss it.

If you want to give the tweak a try, the tweak is available in Cydia's BigBoss repository for free and requires that you're using an iOS 7 device to be installed.
