  • Apple Ships the New Mac Pro to Europe Once Again After the EU Ban of its Older Model

The older iteration of the Mac Pro hasn’t been available to buy in Europe as changes in regulations meant that the old Mac Pro didn’t comply with the European law. To be more specific, the large exposed fans of the Mac Pro were the reason behind the ban. An amendment required fan guards and minor changes to electrical ports that Apple’s Mac Pro did not meet at the time.

That being said, the new design of the current Mac Pro does comply with regulatory requirements. According to the folks over at MacGeneration, customers in Europe were able to not only order the Mac Pro but are now receiving shipment notifications with delivery as early as January 14. Apple’s online store points towards customers receiving newly ordered Mac Pros by February if ordered today as well.

Good news for those who want a Mac Pro and live in Europe!

I found this weird. The Mac Pro had a lockable case which meant if need be only authorised people could gain access and hurt themselves, this applies even if the unit is in use.
I really don't see what the big deal was.

Anybody know if they actually have one in the Milton Keynes store?

Europeans tend to source more child pornography- and laws required for fans to have less accessibility- apparently the holes where big enough to stick their nobbins in- lacerations occured...
