TweetDeck for Mac Updated With Ability to Send Photos in Direct Messages
On Thursday, the highly popular TweetDeck Twitter client application for Mac OS X by Twitter, Inc. has been updated, bringing the application up to version 3.5.5.
The new update gives the application the ability to let users send photos in Direct Messages. Twitter originally gave iOS device users this feature back in the middle of December
; Tweetbot followed suit recently
. With this feature, you can now easily share photos with just one person, rather than having to Tweet it and share it with everyone.
In addition, the update gives users the ability to add Tweets to custom timelines via URL, and fixes a bug that could cause a login session not to be persisted across restarts.
Existing users of the TweetDeck application for Mac OS X will find the update in the Mac App Store under the Updates tab. Alternatively, Mac users can also go to the Menu in the Menu Bar, and choose Software Update from the list of options.
If you haven't tried TweetDeck yet, and you want to, it's available for free in the Mac App Store via this link
