'TapTodaysCalendar' Adds a Calendar App Shortcut to Notification Center in iOS 7
With iOS 7, Apple completely redesigned Notification Center. With the new design, you can tap on any of the stock symbols to open up the Stocks application, or tap on the weather information to open up the Weather application.
Interestingly, for whatever reason, tapping on the calendar data doesn't open the Calendar application. Seems a little inconsistent – wouldn't you agree?
A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed TapTodaysCalendar
by iOS developer ianb821 fixes this, giving the user the ability to tap on the date at the top of Notification Center to launch the Calendar application, as shown above.
It's a small modification, but it definitely adds a feature to iOS 7 that Apple seems to have forgotten all about. If you want to grab this tweak, it's available for free in Cydia's ModMyi repository.
