'BatterySafe' Attempts to Save Battery When Your Battery Percentage Gets Low
With battery life being such an important part of nearly every iOS device owner's day, it makes sense to try and conserve battery to keep your device running as long as possible throughout the day.
A new free jailbreak tweak dubbed BatterySafe
by iOS developer thejailpad keeps this in mind, as the tweak's focus is to conserve as much energy as possible when your battery starts getting low.
With BatterySafe, the user designates a battery percentage that they consider to be low. By default, the percentage is set to 20%, but from the tweak's preferences pane, shown above, the user can set this percentage to anything in increments of 10.
When the device reaches this user-designated battery percentage, the device will start lowering the display brightness to try and conserve energy. Users can also optionally disable Wi-Fi and/or Bluetooth when the device reaches that battery percentage by enabling either or both of the two options from the tweak's preferences pane. The preferences pane also lets users enable or disable the tweak on demand.
If you want to try and start conserving energy when you need it the most, BatterySafe might be worth taking a look at. To give it a try, head over to Cydia's BigBoss repository and grab it!
