'NoSlowAnimations' Speeds Up Animations in iOS 7 for a More Fluid Experience
With iOS 7, Apple implemented slower animations for a different kind of movement experience. iOS' animations are no longer meant to imitate a snappy and quick experience, rather, it now flows like water.
If you want to speed up the animations in iOS 7, including the animations that occur when you unlock your device or when application open up, you should check out a new free jailbreak tweak dubbed NoSlowAnimations
by iOS developer Marco Singhof.
After you install this tweak, the animations in iOS 7 will be about two-times more responsive than the stock animations. It won't speed up your iOS device per-se, but it will make your device seem quicker as a part of the illusion.
NoSlowAnimations has no options to configure and is 100% compatible with both 32-bit and 64-bit iOS devices. If you want to give the tweak a try, it's available for free in Cydia's BigBoss repository right now. The developer recommends that you enable the "Reduce Motion" under the Accessibility preferences pane in the Settings application for the best user experience.
