  • Ryan Petrich's 'FlipControlCenter' Tweak for iOS 7 Now Available in his Beta Repository

Ryan Petrich's FlipControlCenter jailbreak tweak that he teased a few days ago is now available at no cost in his beta repository.

FlipControlCenter gives iOS 7 users more control over the toggles in Control Center. Not only does the tweak give Control Center more toggles, but also, the user can control the order in which they appear, how many appear, and choose what toggles are hidden from the lock screen to prevent unwanted users from toggling certain things on or off.

The tweak adds a preferences pane to the Settings application where you can configure the tweak's settings:

From the preferences pane, you'll find three major settings cells. The first gives the user the ability to choose the order in which the toggles appear in Control Center. The second allows the user to choose what toggles are hidden from the lock screen. The last gives the user the ability to choose how many toggles appear on each page.

FlipControlCenter gives the user access to the following toggles via Control Center:

    • Settings shortcut
    • Respring shortcut
    • Auto-lock toggle
    • LTE toggle
    • Rotation lock toggle
    • Cellular data toggle
    • Do Not Disturb toggle
    • Location services toggle
    • Bluetooth toggle
    • and more...

Once configured, FlipControlCenter makes Control Center look something like this:

To download FlipControlCenter and improve Control Center on iOS 7, head over to Ryan Petrich’s beta repository. To download it, you’ll need to go into Cydia:
    1. tap on the Manage tab
    2. tap on the Sources button
    3. tap on the Edit button
    4. tap on the Add button

Which toggles aren't working? I'd like to test on my device, as well. Thanx!

Anyone else seem to notice the battery drain issue with this tweak? My battery percentage goes up and down randomly about 3-5 percent at a time. Could this be a memory leak issue? I'm using iPod touch 5th gen and this is the only tweak I have installed other than activator. I live this tweak just don't want it to cause so much battery drain.

Did the update include Quicklaunches, as well? If not, I'll stick w/ CCToggles for now

You can add some quick launches to the bottom row where the flashlight, camera, clock and calculator are... It's limited on the quick launches, I'm sure more options will come soon though...

      What Quicklaunches are included?

Sorry for asking questions but installing this again really screws up my ip5S since Activator/Flipswitch don't play well with it, yet

Yep. Serious battery drain and I've eliminated any other tweaks as the source (since this is the only one besides Zeppelin on my 5s)!

Uninstalled until this issue is addressed.

I'm sorry if I was misleading, not really quick launches of apps... Just toggle switches really, quick launch for settings is really the only thing...

Tried to upload some photos of the settings but mmi won't let me?

Not yet, no reboot switch either...

      Ok, thanx!

BTW, I upload to the Photobucket.app then copy the URL into the MMI.app

Okie dokie, thanks man... Will setup a photobucket account... Weird though cuz I posted a few pics directly from my camera roll the other day, using the mmi mobile app (which is all I use for this site.) Now it keeps not giving me permission...

Same thing happened to me. Their server is jacked up!

      Flipcontrolcenter? Do you mean Flipswitch?

If it's automatically adding Flipswitch, then Activator has Flipswitch as a depends.

If you manually install Activator, you'll prolly get a prompt in Cydia to install Flipswitch, as well.

I spent several days in tracking this down. I disabled all extensions from
      /Library/MobileSubstrate/DynamicLibraries
And there was no memory leak. Then I started enabling them one by one and checked the memory usage in TOP. I waited for at least 24 hours before each test. So far I found two extensions that leak memory.
Flipswitch.plist / Flipswitch.dylib is causing a memory leak in SpringBoard. It leaked 15 MB for 29 hours.
libstatusbar.plist / libstatusbar.dylib is causing a very heavy memory leak in launchd.

For now I'd stay away from these faulty extensions. It would be nice if someone knows the developers to notify them.
      I am using iPhone 3g iOS 4.2.1.
      Good luck!

Because I use MyWi, I'm keeping libstatusbar active BUT I removed the Dependency in CCToggles so that I don't have to use Flipswitch. I'm interested to see what comes of this!

I might even remove libstatusbar from MyWi just for fun...!
