  • Angry Birds Star Wars Updated With 30 New Final Battle Levels, Vader Gets Unmasked

On Tuesday, the original Angry Birds Star Wars has received an update bringing the game up to version 1.5.0.

Rovio has brought the final episode to a close with 30 all-new levels depicting the Final Battle between the Rebels and the Empire. At the end of the levels, Darth Vader will get unmasked, just like he does in the movies. 15 of these levels take place in an Imperial Star Destroyer, and the other 15 take place in the Death Star.

There will be a lot of action with the Emperor and Darth Vader in these levels and there will be a boss fight at the end of the levels where you need to defeat the Emperor and Darth Vader.

While the episodes may be coming to a close in this update, Rovio may still update the game with regular content updates and bonus levels.

Existing players of Angry Birds Star Wars will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download Angry Birds Star Wars for 99 from this App Store link for the iPhone and iPod touch, or for $2.99 from this App Store link for the iPad.

      Minor original trilogy spoilers here.

I believe this is referring to the scene near the end of Return of the Jedi where he askes Luke to remove the entire helmet (not just the face mask) which was part of his breathing apparatus that was damaged in the events just before, so he wanted to look at Luke without the mask on while he still had time.
