  • iPhone 5s Reaches Just About 100% Availability in Retail Stores for All Configurations

We’ve been watching as the supply of Apple’s iPhone 5s has slowly caught up with demand. Shipping times on Apple’s Web site have drastically improved over time, from waits as long as 1-2 weeks, and now displaying a measly 1-3 business days.

But apart from online shopping, it also comes into the interest of customers on whether or not their local Apple retail Store has any iPhone 5s handsets in stock.

An analyst known as Gene Munster polled 60 retail locations and found that all of the locations had roughly a 100% availability rate for every configuration of the iPhone 5s, including all of the different carrier options (AT&T, Verizon, Sprint, T-mobile, and unlocked), colors (Space Gray, Silver, and Gold), and storage configurations (16GB, 32GB, and 64GB).

The graph above depicts how the availability of the iPhone 5s in each of its configuration options has changed over time.

With supplies of the iPhone 5s proving to be plentiful in all of its configuration options, last-minute holiday shoppers that want to get their family members a new smartphone this holiday season should have no problems picking one up, either online or in stores.

Notably, Walmart is set to begin offering the iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c contract-free on Straight Talk and NET10 starting December 13th.
