  • Update to Vine iOS App Allows Users to Hide Friends' Re-vines From Feed

Following the update to the popular Vine video-sharing application for iOS last week, which brought users two new features for Vine composition, Vine has been updated again on Tuesday, bringing the application up to version 1.4.1.

With Tuesday’s update, users now have the ability of hiding re-vines shared by specific friends on the social network so that they won’t appear in your feed anymore. As shown above, the option comes up under the action menu of a user's profile. The new feature is intended to allow users to cut down on feed clutter that they don't really wish to see.

Vine also notes that today's update to the application carries a number of bug fixes to improve on the recent update last week.

Existing users of the Vine application will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of the Vine application from the App Store for free from this App Store link.
