64% of iOS Devices Running iOS 7 Already Since its Launch to the Public
Since the official launch of iOS 7 to the public mid-last month
, 200 million, or 64%, of existing iOS devices are already running Apple’s latest operating system, according to Apple’s Tim Cook.
iOS 7 has seen some of the most impressive figures of adoption in iOS history, as statistics have shown
; however, the statistics weren't exactly in line with Apple's adoption numbers. Other statistics claimed that iOS 7's adoption was actually slower than iOS 6
iOS 7 brings devices an all-new flatter interface appearance, as well as new features. These new features include iTunes Radio, Control Center, AirDrop, an improved Siri, improved multitasking, and much more. New applications, and existing applications alike, are all in the midst of being updated to take advantage of Apple's new operating system.
iOS 7 also brings support for Apple's new 64-bit A7 chip hardware, and gives developers tons of new APIs to work with in their applications.
