  • T-Mobile CEO Caught Directing Attention to Note 3 while using his iPhone 5S

T-Mobile CEO John Legere intended to use Twitter to help direct attention to Samsung Mobile’s latest Note 3 phablet but inadvertently did so using his new iPhone 5S. Legere now joins a list of major figures that have made the same mistake in the past.

For those of you who didn’t’ know, Legere tweeted the following:

Glad @SamsungMobile decided to bring phablets to the states. I don't know what I'd do without my #Note3!
The tweet attached a link to a story explaining how Samsung has ended up conquering the “phablet” market. It also noted that it had been sent via Twitter for iPhone, metadata which is attached automatically. After being notified of that, Legere responded within minutes by stating the following:

oops. I carry both as you may know! That was funny.
He then followed up with a photo of a gold iPhone 5S alongside a Note 3 and a Galaxy Gear watch, indicating that Samsung’s big screen phablet isn’t a suitable replacement for a standard sized phone, even when paired with the company’s new $299 Bluetooth wrist-watch.

It should be noted that the Gear watch wasn’t on his wrist and the Samsung phablet phone was on its lock screen, plugged in to a power adapter, with a generic carrier background wallpaper image. The iPhone on the other hand was logged in and appeared to be in active use, with pending phone, email and Facebook notifications. Furthermore, it also had multiple pages of apps installed and a personalized background photo.

What do you think of the whole ordeal?

Wow, how many times has this happened? when will they learn about the auto tag?

Doesn't matter if he cares both. He clearly showed which he preferred to use, and it wasn't the fugly bulky phablet.

Did anyone notice that the watch is covering up the carrier to show its not activated? The watch just happen to be in the perfect spot!

Then they'll be mad he listens to Music with Beats audio..... 😂😂. Trust he gets to try every phone on his network and gets them for free. I guess he picked his two favorites, best of both worlds.

The signal is on the right hand side on Android and it doesn't show the carrier, just the strength. In this picture it has full strength.
