In the next three weeks, Apple's new iPhone 5s and iPhone 5c will land in more than four-dozen new markets and geographic locations around the world.
But the two new devices are also set for massive expansion on the domestic carrier front. As MMi has reported in recent weeks, Apple's flagship iPhone 5s and the lower-cost iPhone 5c will soon be available through a host of small, regional carriers in the U.S. And on Monday, yet another carrier is entering the picture.
Prepaid carrier Cricket said today that it will begin carrying the new iPhones next Friday, October 25th. Unfortunately, Cricket is yet to announce details with regard to pricing and availability.
It's unclear how much the phones will cost through Cricket, which offers service to customers without contracts. Prepaid customers typically pay full price for a device unless the carrier offers some sort of promotion. The iPhone iPhone 5S starts at $649 without a contact, while the 5C starts at $549.
