  • 'Unrestricted Folders Naming' Lets You Rename Folders However You Want to

Sometimes we try to be creative, but some of Apple’s restrictions can keep our imaginations from shining. This is why we jailbreak our iOS devices.

With a new free jailbreak tweak called Unrestricted Folders Naming by iOS developer PoomSmart, we can remove all of the silly folder-naming restrictions from naming folders on our home screens.

For example, if you want to have multiple spaces before or after a word in the folder name, as shown above, you can do that. And best of all, the spaces won’t automatically disappear and iOS won’t automatically center-align the text to the folder icon. Instead, your spacing will remain.

In addition, if you want to have a folder with no name at all, this tweak will let you do that.

Unrestricted Folders Naming doesn’t have any options to configure and is compatible with both iOS 5 and iOS 6. If you want to remove all of those restrictions that keep you from being able to name your folders something specific, then Unrestricted Folders Naming is worth checking out. You can grab it at no cost right now from Cydia’s BigBoss repository.
