Another iOS 7 Exploit Allows Anyone to Make Calls from Locked iPhones
Another security flaw has been discovered in Apple’s iOS 7, this time exploiting a bug in the emergency calling system that allows anyone to bypass an iPhone’s passcode lock to make a phone call. The bug found by Karam Daoud and reported by Fortune
with many people claiming to have replicated the process on various iPhones running iOS 7.
This recent discovery comes after a separate issue that was also recently uncovered; an exploit found in Command Center to bypass iOS 7’s lock screen security protection. The Command Center issue is easily rectified by turning off the feature’s lock screen access in the Settings app. Unfortunately there is no quick fix for the newly discovered emergency call exploit.

The latest exploit has been sent to Apple already, with the company likely to issue a patch for the exploit in its next software update.
