  • iOS 7 Officially Released to the Public

After the long wait, iOS 7 is officially out to the public. Users can upgrade their software OTA (Over the Air) or through iTunes.

iOS 7 brings iOS devices a whole new look, as well as a number of new features, whcih we covered for you in depth at this link.

If you’re jailbroken and don’t want to lose your jailbreak, we would suggest staying where you are for the time being. The evad3rs are confident that they will have a jailbreak for iOS 7 in the future, but they’re not so sure when. So it could be a while.

For those that already updated, and are missing their jailbreaks, iOS hacker ih8sn0w just posted a blog post adding validity to the iOS 6.1.4 and iOS 6.1.3 untethered jailbreaks that were teased on video last night. You should downgrade as soon as you can while the downgrade window is still open.

I have been running iOS 7 100% of the time since beta 1 and have never had that bug.

It wasn't planned by the evasi0n team and they aren't the ones doing it.

You'd think with billions in cash, they could put up the money to support this annual problem!

      Check this out, LOL!

Is this jailbreak for 6.1.4 actually gonna happen?? Or will it fade away as people upgrade to iOS 7. I'm on beta 7, but will downgrade tonight if this is true.

It 'might' happen but I think you already missed the window to downgrade

As have I, and I hadn't seen this on any of the previous builds.

In trying to recreate it, it appears to only occur in the calendar when editing an event - not creating a new one.

I'm not sure what sets it off in Safari - the few times it's happened have immediately preceded a crash.

I'll just do a clean install of the public release, and wait until they seed us 7.01 to look for stability improvements.

Overall I think ios7 is good so far but why have they made siri and the directions in maps sound like Stephen Hawking? It's sounds really distorted.

Listening to iTunes Radio. Great! No trouble updating the iPad 3. It took almost 2 hours though. I love the new features.
