'AirPlay for Activator' Lets You Open the AirPlay Menu With a Simple Activator Gesture
Hereís a tweak that goes out to all those AirPlay users out there. Dubbed AirPlay for Activator
by iOS developer Ron Thakrar, this add-on for Activator will let you easily access your AirPlay Menu from anywhere with a simple Activator gesture.
AirPlay is useful for a variety of different devices; usually wireless speakers. It makes for a great music-playing experience because you don't have to be wired up to the speakers to listen to your music. You can actually move around.
The way the add-on works is simple. It adds an entry into the Activator preferences pane so you can set a gesture for opening the AirPlay menu. For example, we set double-tapping the status bar to opening the AirPlay menu below:
Now when we double-tap on the status bar, we will get the menu allowing us to choose an AirPlay device. Yup; itís that simple. If you want to give AirPlay for Activator a try, itís available for free in Cydiaís BigBoss repository. It works with iOS 6.0 and later, but isnít yet compatible with iPads.
