Infinity Blade 3 Set to Launch on September 18
Those of you who watched today’s media event probably noticed that Infinity Blade 3 was chosen to show of the processing power of the new iPhone 5S today. The game is one of the most anticipated sequels on iOS yet and its release date is seemingly going hand to hand with the release of Apple’s next-gen iPhone 5S. The co-founder of Chair, which is owned by Epic Games, Donald Mustard, took the stage to show off the third and final installment of the popular series today.
The fans are in for a special treat as Infinity Blade 3 is said to feature eight separate worlds, each as big as the entire original game. For the first time ever, fans will also be able to play as two characters: Siris and Isa. The game is also said to feature a “massively social” co-op mode.
Those of you who are interested in purchasing, downloading and playing the game will have to wait until Friday, September 20th. The game is set to cost $6.99 USD at its launch. Although the game has been optimized to run best on the upcoming iPhone 5S, it will support other iOS devices including the iPhone 5C, iPhone 5, iPhone 4S, iPhone 4, iPad 4, iPad 3, iPad 2, iPad mini and fourth- and fifth-gen iPod touch.
