  • 'StatusColor' Lets You Change Your Status Bar's Color to Whatever You Want

iOS developer RiDan has started his own version of TweakWeak that he calls “FunWeek.” As the developer notes, he won't be involved in TweakWeek 2 and doesn't feel like waiting for an iOS 7-jailbreak, so he decided to get started right now. We just showed you SBPageSwipe, which was a part of this event, and now we'll be showing you another tweak that is a part of the event called StatusColor.

With StatusColor, you can change the color of your Status Bar to anything you want it to be. To do this, you can visit the tweak’s preferences pane in the Settings application after installing to find yourself a set of RGB sliders:

As you move the RGB sliders, the Status Bar’s color will change in real time, making it really simple for you to find a color that you’re happy with. The changed Status Bar color appears in applications, as well as on the lock screen and on the home screen.

If you'd like to give StatusColor a try, you can download it for free from Cydia's BigBoss repository for free. We will also continue to keep you updated on the status of FunWeek as more tweaks arise.

can already do that with Winterboard and much more, it will consume less memory in the long run, compared to using loads of small tweaks like this

      WOW !
Thankyou so much, RiDan - I've been waiting for this since Winterboard first came out (but could never manage) !
And for legacy iOS versions too.
Ridan The Man - may you live forever.

And for those of us that theme our devices by modifying core files for device speed without using Winterboard, this is great.
To add, I haven't seen one lost MB of ram with this tweak.
