Shazam Updated With Faster Tagging, Better Recognition, More Twitter Integration
On Monday, the popular Shazam and Shazam Encore music tagging applications for iOS were updated, bringing them up to version 6.2.1.
The update brings with it a vast number of improvements, such as even faster music tagging that the developers note will be most noticeable on slower devices like the iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS, as well as improved tagging in noisy environments, which letís face it; most of our tagging ends up being in noisy environments, so this improvement is certainly welcomed.
Other improvements include a more dynamic Explore chart that will show you the hottest tags in the last seven days, and improved experiences with T.V. tagging.
Shazam 6.2.1 also adds a new feature for Twitter users that will show a preview of any song you tag and then Tweet on Twitter. Twitter calls this feature "Twitter Card" and all of your followers will be able to play the preview to see what you're listening to:
Existing users of the Shazam or Shazam Encore applications will find the update for free in the Updates tab of the App Store. Alternatively, you can download Shazam for free from this App Store link
