Yahoo Mail App Updated With Folder Management and Better Attachment Support
Yahoo Tuesday launched an update for their popular Yahoo Mail application for iOS. The update brings the application up to version 1.5.9 and adds some useful new features and fixes a number of bugs in the application.
The update brings with it a new folder management feature that allows users to create new folders, re-name existing folders, or delete existing folders. These folders are used for organizing your e-mails so that you can easily refer to them later on if you need to without sifting through clutter. You can manage folders by using the Edit button that appears in the list of folders.
In addition, the application now supports opening attached files in external applications that are installed on your iOS device. For example, if you were to open a PDF file that you received in an e-mail, you could launch it in Adobe’s free Adobe Reader application for iOS via the Share button.
Apart from the new features, the application has received a number of bug fixes, including a problem that could cause the sidebar to come up blank. If you're an existing user of the application, you will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store application. Alternatively, you can download the latest version of the Yahoo Mail application for free from this App Store link
