Apple Now Allows Up to 200 Devices On a Single Developer Account
Apple Friday changed the rules for developers, allowing then to use not just 100 Apple devices on a single developer account, but now up to a generous 200 Apple devices on a single developer account.
With the new support for the additional 100 devices per developer account, developers will now get more out of their $99-per year subscription.
Devices are added to a developer account with their Unique Device Identifier (UDID) and the devices that are added to the developer account are then able to have beta software (such as iOS 7 Beta
) installed on them for testing. This allows developers to test their software on Apple's latest firmware before it hits the public.
notes, Apple has not yet updated their Support page
with the details for the additional device slots. Apple is expected to update the page shortly as the support for the additional devices finishes rolling out to everyone's developer accounts.
