Instagram iOS App Updated With Camera Roll Video Uploading, Photo Straightening
The highly popular Instagram photo sharing and social network application for iOS has Wednesday received an update bringing the application to version 4.1.
The update finally brings users the ability to upload videos from the Camera Roll rather than having to record a new video on the spot to upload it to Instagram. Before the update, the only way to do this was with a jailbroken iOS device and a jailbreak tweak known as InstaChooser
The update also gives users the ability to automatically straighten photographs that they take so that they look good when they’re uploaded to Instagram. Notably, the user will need to take photos with the Instagram camera for them to be straightened. The user can still add photo effects to the photograph if they choose.
Existing users of Instagram will find the update under the Updates tab in the App Store. Alternatively, the latest version of the Instagram application for iOS can be downloaded for free from this App Store link
