  • Apple Seeds iOS 7 Beta 4 to Developers

Following the last minute predictions this morning, Apple Monday seeded iOS 7 Beta 4 to developers for testing.

iOS 7 Beta 4 brings bug fixes and stability improvements to the operating system. The software should only be installed on registered iOS developer devices.

iOS 7 Beta 4 was expected to be released last Monday following Apple’s two-week seed increments; however, due to an intruder hacking into the Developer Center, the Developer Center was shut down for a week and the seed was delayed.

Those running iOS 7 Beta 3 can now visit their Settings application and navigate to General>Software Update to find the update waiting for them. There, the update can be downloaded over the air (OTA) and installed without needing to connect to iTunes.

Why does apple have all these days? In each story it's a different one. Why does apple have Monday. What if I want it?

Anyone know if the flaw in iTunes is still there that allows you to update to beta's without having your UDID registered?

I honestly don't see any difference, still feels about as stable as beta 3 tbh. Running on iPad mini and the brightness switcher (on the little settings slide up panel) still doesn't work. Really want the folders to show more than 9 applications when open, wastes too much screen.

You can still use OTA if you are not a Dev. It runs smoothly enough for regular use just at times it gets a little annoying.

On my ipad 2 it runs fine .. I've not seen much lag, the only experiences I've had are some missing features like on my ipad2 there was no weather app and spotlight search didn't work.. also the app store would crash on an initial search sometimes.

B4 is downloading now, should be done in a few minutes. I'm seriously considering popping this on my 4s at this point.

I find multitasking to be annoying as its slow, also if you do too much on the device at one time it tends to restart the springboard
