Apple's Developer System Status Indicator Will Keep You Up to Date On Apple's Dev Center
The Developer Center was hacked into last Thursday and Apple has been attempting to bring the systems back online with stronger security since the event. Information was not compromised in the attack; Apple noted in the e-mail sent out to developers
that the information was encrypted and cannot be accessed.
Apple Wednesday sent an e-mail to developers alerting them that they can check up on Apple's System Status indicator
, which shows the status of what parts of the Web site are offline and what parts of the Web site are online. The new indicator will update each time Apple brings another feature online, and it displays a time showing the most recent activity.
Items marked with a green square are online, while items marked with a gray circle are offline.
Currently, iTunes Connect and Bug Reporter are online, while many other parts of the site including iOS Dev Center, Mac Dev Center, Safari Dev Center, Certificates, Identifiers, and Profiles, Apple Developer Forums, and more continue to display offline. Many developers are waiting patiently to be able to access these tools, but it shouldn't be too much longer now.
We are continuing to monitor the status of the Web site and will keep you updated.
