If you use the Contacts application often for easily getting to people you need to get in touch with, then you might want to look into a new jailbreak tweak called Gotha
by iOS developer iphonconcept. The tweak makes it a lot faster to get in touch with existing contacts, as well as get rid of contacts that you might not use anymore through the use of new gestures.
Gotha, as shown above, adds a new action button selector to the Contacts application when sliding to the right on a contact name. The action button selector includes shortcuts for text messaging or iMessaging, calling, E-mailing, Tweeting, Facebooking, and visiting the Web page of the contact.
Notably, for this to work, you'll need to have the corresponding information attached to the contact. For example, to visit the contact's Web page, you will need to assign the contact a Web page, or to e-mail the contact, you will need to have an e-mail address attached to the contact. If the contact doesn't have the information you ask for, the tweak will let you know with a friendly alert message.
In addition, Gotha adds the ability to swipe left on a contact name to bring up a delete button. This delete button is normally accessed by going into a contact card and scrolling all the way to the bottom, but with this shortcut, deleting contacts you don't use anymore is now easier than ever.
These added features make the Contacts application feel more finished, and the implementation is great and easy to use. Gotha is compatible with all iPhones and iPod touches running iOS 5.0 and later, but is not compatible with the iPad. If you would like to give Gotha a try, you will find it in Cydia’s ModMyi repository for $1.99.
