  • Apple Releases iOS 4.3.2

Apple has just released yet another iOS update. This time, as expected, we have 4.3.2, which gives us minor bug fixes and security patches for the iPhone 4 (GSM), iPhone 3GS, iPad 2, iPad, and 3rd and 4th generation iPod touch. For now, the update doesn't apply to the Verizon iPhone 4 (CDMA).

    According to Apple, the update:

    - Fixes an issue that occasionally caused blank or frozen video during a FaceTime call
    - Fixes an issue that prevented some international users from connecting to 3G networks on iPad Wi-Fi + 3G
    - Contains the latest security updates

Immediately following the release, MuscleNerd tweeted the following: "ultrasn0w unlockers stay away from today's iOS 4.3.2! Everyone else, make sure you have your 4.3.1 SHSH blobs saved." He followed with: "Apple sure is aggressively patching these untethered jailbreaks lately (but that's still better than lawsuits)."

The last incremental update for iOS was rolled out just a few short weeks ago, tackling cellular network issues as well as graphics glitches associated with the fourth-generation iPod touch. Within hours of iOS 4.3.1 dropping, speculation mounted about another looming release - the one we received today.

    Update: Verizon iPhone 4.2.7 released

My phone is happy with 4.2.1. I don't have any reason to update. My iPad 2 is still on 4.3 and I'm keeping it that way until word of a jailbreak surfaces.

Same here. I'm not going to bother upgrading and dealing with jailbreaking issues until I find a true reason to do so.

Same here as well, still saving my blobs though

Either apple is just trying to keep there support forum down in complaints or just trying to stop the jailbreaking with all these updats

dang i was going to update my ipod touch to 4.3.1 and jailbreak. Now i cant since this is out.
Wait.......... I can click on restore while holding the key alt options on my mac and I will be asked to use a software than i use the ipsw of 4.3.1 and restore using that....
uummmmm apple i win!!!!!!! Apple will never take my jailbreak away no matter how tempting it is for new features. Only 4.3.2 is really nothing.

Now we wait and see how many people wait 20 or up to 40 minutes to download the update and than update and say i updated on accident..... lol

Like everyone else (hopefully everyone, anyway) I will wait this out. I'm on 4.3.1 with a newly purchased iPhone 4 and I don't see any reasons to upgrade until i5 pops loose!

Waiting for people to update, lose their jailbreak and unlock then start crying at the dev teams to release jailbreaks. Seriously though who is stupid enough to do this stuff.

With people doing the factory unlock, including myself, will this affect those iPhones. Reason I ask is because I have yet to receive an email from cutyoursim saying my iPhone has been unlocked. Do not want to run the risk of having to connect it to iTunes and with this new update there being an issue. Thank you in advance for any replies.
