Instagram for iOS Updated With Landscape Camera Support, Front-facing Camera Cinema
The popular free iOS photography and social networking application known as Instagram has received an update Friday bringing the application to version 4.0.2.
In version 4.0.2, Instagram has received support for using the camera in landscape orientation versus the usual portrait orientation. The landscape orientation supports both photography and videography… notably, Instagram just recently added support for videos
In addition, users can now use Cinema mode with the front-facing camera. In other words, users can now use the front-facing camera to record video. Before the update, users were restricted to using the rear-facing camera only for capturing videos in the Instagram application.
The update also claims to add in a number of bug fixes and improvements to add to the application's overall security and stability.
