iOS 7 Beta 3 Reportedly Set to Release July 8th
iOS 7 has been in beta for developers to test their applications on since the initial unveiling at WWDC 2013
. Just four days ago, Apple issued iOS 7 Beta 2
to developers, which included many bug fixes for the early mobile operating system.
A report from BGR
suggests that Apple may be seeding iOS 7 Beta 3 to carriers on Monday, July 8th. The report highlights that iOS 7 Beta 2 was seeded to developers on the same day that it was seeded to carriers, so itís possible that the same could be the case for iOS 7 Beta 3, meaning the software update could be available for all iOS devices linked to a developer account on that day.
iOS 7 Beta 3 is expected to add more bug fixes across the board. Most of iOS 7ís features have already been implemented since the first beta; however, thatís not to say that Apple may not sneak a few additional features into the next beta. iOS 7 is expected to see major changes
throughout the entire beta process before its final release to the public this Fall.
Should the update be released on the forecasted date, this would be two weeks after iOS 7 Beta 2 was released. This pattern also appears between the release of iOS 7 Beta 1 and iOS 7 Beta 2, suggesting that Apple may stay on track for a two-week beta release pattern for iOS 7. Being that iOS 7 was rushed into production because of all the major changes, this may be a necessary step in ensuring as smooth of a public release as possible.
