  • Apple Seeds iOS 7 Beta 2 to Developers

Apple recently released the second beta of iOS 7 for the iPhone to developers. The update arrives two weeks after the new mobile operating system was unveiled at WWDC 2013. Developers who are testing the software can download iOS 7 beta 2 through Software Update in the iPhone’s native Settings application. Apple has said the update contains bug fixes and improvements.

The Cupertino California company also warned users that the second beta “should only be deployed on devices dedicated for iOS 7 beta software development.” The prelease software isn’t intended for use among the general public.

Although the Settings icon has changed in iOS 7, the gears included still rotate while iOS 7 beta 2 is downloading.

For those of you who don’t know, Apple gave developers the first beta of iOS 7 two weeks ago at its annual Worldwide Developers Conference. This was also the first time in the world that the general public was able to see the major design overhaul made to the platform. When it comes to the exact changes made for iOS 7 beta 2, they have not yet been revealed. We’ll find out soon though as more users download and test this beta version.

It's a beta so yes it is only for developers. You have to be on beta 1 to see the update. The public release of ios7 is probably still a few months off.

You don't need to pay anything to anyone to have iOS 7 beta.

You have to be running iOS 7 Beta 1 first. Which must be installed using iTunes. Google how to do it because there is a wrong way if you are not a registered dev. If you paid someone that wasn't Apple then you just got ripped off. Since you don't seem to understand anything that you need and don't need to do I suggest you wait till the fall for the official release.

I put the ios 7 beta on my 4 for free doing that trick by downloading it off of utorrent and then holding shift and clicking update through iTunes. How do I get the beta 2? Do I just click update through the phone or do I have to get it off of utorrent again? Anyone know?
