Jobs Bio Gets New Cover for Paperback Launch in September
On October 24, 2011, just weeks after the passing of the Apple visionary and co-founder, Walter Isaacson's authorized biography of Steve Jobs went on sale, instantly becoming one of the best-selling biographies of the modern age.
Although it remains unclear just how many copies of the book have been sold to date, the book was Amazon's best-selling title of 2011 despite only being available for the last two months of the year.
Sales of the critically-acclaimed biography are expected to claim again this fall when the book is finally released in paperback. According to published reports Monday from All Things D, the paperback version of the now-classic work will arrive in stores September 10th.
The paperback, however, will feature a new cover that displays a younger Steve Jobs striking a similar pose to the image we all recognize from the 2011 hardcover edition. Amazon's sales page for the paperback edition currently shows a $17.99 price tag for the book.
