  • Watch The WWDC 2013 Keynote Live Video Stream via Apple's Website

Just a little while ago, Apple brought back its Apple Events channel for the Apple TV, confirming that it will be offering live video streaming of today’s media event. The Cupertino California company has now updated its site to promote a live stream available online, making the broadcast available to a much larger audience. The teaser on the main page reads the following:

View streaming video from today's big event starting at 10 a.m. PDT.
Those of you who are interested in watching the event live will need Safari 4 or later on a minimum of Mac OS X Snow Leopard or iOS 4.2 or later for those who will try to access the event stream from a mobile device. It should be noted that those of you who plan on using your Apple TV will need a second or third-generation Apple TV with a minimum of iOS 5.0.2 on the device to watch the stream.

As mentioned before, the WWDC 2013 keynote kicks off at 10:00 AM Pacific Time!

If you need Safari on a Mac or an iOS device obviously Apple have no interest in new customers

Are you being serious? I can't tell. I'm pretty sure Apple has an interest in new customers. I'm also pretty sure that they're aware that only a relatively small number of people are interested in streaming WWDC and the others can still be converted by their newest iWhatever. They've done just fine until now when we all had to follow along on the Gizmodo live blog. Just chill out.

People aren't being converted much these days if you haven't noticed. Once again, the Apple sheep are blind to what's been really happening.

Maybe I'm blind to what's happening right here, but why are you here ? We come to this website to stay up to date on apple news. This is a website designed for us "iSheep". Meaning, we know that. We're well aware of "what we are". Therefore, we don't need to be reminded, as none of us would argue it anyway. But, what are you here for ? If you're gunna insult someone here, be original with it. "Crapple" and "iSheep" is so old and not even remotely offensive anymore (I actually highly doubt it ever was to begin with.) I think I'd take more offense to being told to shut up. Hopefully I did not offend you. I would hate for you to have to reach into your well thought out bag of insults and call me a "poopoo face" or a "Peepee neck."

Seriously, you need a MAC or apple TV to watch this? I have an iPhone is it viewable on there? Is there any other way of watching it without having a MAC or Apple TV? Maybe a bootable OSX on a PC?

It says 'iOS 4.2 or later for those who will try to access the event stream from a mobile device' so I guess it's possible.

You could just install an OS X copy of 10.6 upwards in a VM using VMware or VirtualBox (free) if you can be that bothered!

I don't have time to get in installed but I"ll try it on my phone I missed the part about IOS 4.2 or higher. Normally I just watch some blogging sites but nice to actually be able to watch it. Do bad it's on a phone but oh well better than nothing. Unless I can install Safari on a PC but I think it requires OSX with safari.

Working on my iPhone 5 but not on Safari on a PC. It hasn't started yet but don't think it will work on a PC

Is it just me or is it not working on the iPhone?

I have no idea why people assume they must be on a mac or an ios device to watch this.

It's just telling you that you need specific versions if you ARE on a mac or IOS device .. I'm pretty sure you'll be able to watch on a PC.

You would think, right? But no. It's not working. All Safari on a PC says is "Available shortly. Please check back soon."

      I even redownloaded/reinstalled Safari AND QuickTime....and nope...
