  • 'ClearOnOpen' Auto-Clears SpotLight Searches Every Time You Go to Use it

If you have ever used SpotLight before, then you might have been annoyed to find that the most recent thing you searched for stays in SpotLight leaving SpotLight and stays there until you come back and clear your search.

A new free jailbreak tweak called ClearOnOpen by iOS developer MattCMultimedia makes it so you can easily get started each time. The tweak makes it so you donít have to clear your most recent search before starting a new search, because it will automatically clear your most recent search each time you leave SpotLight and go back to it.

This is not only a hint of convenience for SpotLight users, but also a privacy-enhancement. Now, your most recent search will not show up for anyone else that picks up your iOS device when you forget to manually clear your most recent search.

If you don't really use SpotLight then you may not have much of a use for this tweak, but for those that use SpotLight frequently I can completely recommend this tweak. If you would like to give it a try, it's available in Cydia's BigBoss repository for free!
