Those looking for a way to easily toggle system features from the lock screen now have another option to check out; it's a new free jailbreak tweak called LockToggle by iOS developer Haifisch.
Shown above, LockToggle adds several toggles to the lock screen right above the slide to unlock bar. Toggles can be tapped on to toggle the feature they represent, and the user can swipe sideways on the toggles to scroll through all of the available toggles. The tweak adds a toggle to the lock screen for all of the following features:
- Brightness slider
- Volume slider
- Airplane Mode
- Shut down
- Do Not Disturb
LockToggle adds a preferences pane to the Settings application that allows the user to enable or disable the feature on demand, as well as choose for the toggles to appear on the top or the bottom of the lock screen:
If you would like to give LockToggle a shot, it’s available in Cydia’s BigBoss repository at no cost. If you’re a JellyLock or Atom user, be sure to force the toggles to appear at the top of the lock screen rather than at the bottom.
