  • 'Google Search for Velox' Lets You Use Velox to Easily Search the Web With Google

Those of you that have tried Velox by Apex Tweaks know about its amazing ability to let you use application features right from the home screen via folder-like interfaces that are revealed by swiping up or down on the corresponding application icons. Third party developers are able to create small add-ons for Velox that allow the tweak to offer additional functionality to users that isn't supported right out of the box.

Google Search for Velox by iOS developer Julian ‘”insanji” Weiss is another of such add-ons that can be used to expand the usability of Velox. This add-on allows the user to swipe up or down on the Google Search application to reveal a text field where the user can input a query that they want to search Google for, as shown above.

When the Search button on the keyboard is tapped after completing the query, Mobile Safari launches and loads up whatever you typed into the Google Search text field with the search results that Google can provide for the query.

Google Search for Velox is a free download from Cydia’s BigBoss repository; however, Velox itself is still a separate purchase of $1.99 in Cydia’s BigBoss repository. You must have Velox to use this add-on.
