Firefox 21 Released
Mozilla has Tuesday launched an update to the popular free Firefox Web browser, bringing the application to version 21.0.
Version 21 of the Firefox Web browser adds more support for the built-in Social API, improves the user interface for the Do Not Track (DNT) feature, implements preliminary support for Firefox’s Heath Report, and now gives you tips on how to speed up your Firefox startup times and speed.
Other changes in the update include being able to restore thumbnails you’ve closed out of whenever you’re on the New Tab page, and adds some improvements to graphics.
Mozilla also notes in the full Firefox 21 change log
that they have introduced additional support for HTML 5 elements, and fixed some minor bugs, such as function keys not working as expected, adding a more straightforward download history interface, and introducing some needed security fixes.
Firefox is a free download for Mac OS X, Windows, and Linux. Existing users can download the update automatically by opening the 'About Firefox' window; alternatively, download links for the latest version of the browser can be found below:
