For those of you looking to improve your music experience on your iOS devices, it would be wise to check out a new jailbreak tweak called ipEQ for iPhone
by iOS developer Chef von Australien.
The tweak, shown above, adds a new button to the Music application in iOS so that you can access equalizer controls for your music. The tweak comes complete with a low pass filter, high pass filter, high shelf filter, and bass booster; all of which are customizable to your own liking.
Settings are set via sliders, and each feature can be turned on or off via toggle switches. You will notice your changes to the equalizer settings in real time without the need to respring, or even pause and re-play your music.
If you’re looking to improve your sound quality, or even just add a touch of customization to the sound that comes from your music, then ipEQ for iPhone is a tweak you will want to check out. Notably, it only works for the Music application. If you’d like to give it a shot, it’s available in Cydia’s BigBoss repository for $2.
