  • 'Stopwatch for Velox' Adds a Stopwatch Function to the Velox Jailbreak Tweak

Just last week, we gave you a look at the new Velox jailbreak tweak by Apex Tweaks, which allows you to actually use your applications right from the home screen. While many applications were supported, not all of them were. On the other hand, third-party developers have the ability to create their own plugins for Velox to make it do more.

One such plugin is Stopwatch for Velox by iOS developer Max Katzmann. As shown above, the tweak adds a stopwatch function to the Clock application as long as you have Velox installed on your iOS device. You get the ability to start, stop, and clear the stopwatch right from the folder-like interface.

Stopwatch for Velox is very clean looking and appears to work very well. If you’re enjoying Velox, or you’re interested in trying Velox, be sure to grab this add-on too – Velox is $1.99; however, the plugin is completely free.

You will find Stopwatch for Velox in Cydia's BigBoss repository at no cost – it doesn't have any options to configure.

    Name: Stopwatch for Velox
    Price: FREE
    Version: 0.0.2-1
    Requirements: Velox
    Repo: BigBoss
    Developer: Max Katzmann

I doubt it. Most developers are developing for the current firmware, which is iOS 6.

At the launch of the evasi0n jailbreak, we urged all users to upgrade to iOS 6 while a jailbreakable version was still the current release.

Sadly .. I really liked this "Stopwatch for Velox" tweak but realised that it needs Velox .. and Velox needs iOS 6 .. oh well
