  • iOS 4.1 GM Now Available to Developers

iOS 4.1 GM has been released to official Apple Developers, and to our delight it includes the mentioned HDR support for Photos.

Aside from all the bug fixes, this is an addition we are looking forward to. As Michael reported, Apple is adding the new HDR (high dynamic range) standard to photos, an addition that apparently takes "photo quality to a whole new level". All of which is included in the newly released GM.

If your a registered Developer and don't have to worry about jailbreaking, head on over to your Dev Center and Download iOS 4.1 GM today.

If your not a Developer, don't be messing around with this.

No Game Center on 3G? I had it running just fine on mine back on the 4.0 GM was out. What's going on?

Also, can anyone comment if the 3G is running snappier yet? I'm dying to know if I can officially throw mine out my window.

If you are not on an official carrier you will need to unlock your phone. If you upgrade to the 4.1 Gm and if there is no jailbreak available yet then you cannot unlock your phone. You shouldn't be even be able to receive calls as it wont connect to your carrier.

^That'#s what he wants to do but is stuck on the Emergency call screen.
Until the phone is activated either with an official SIM or a phonecard SIM he can not use the phone at all. Updating to iOS4.1 is totally irrelevant to his situation.

I was one of the unlucky ones to get the Iphone 4 with 4.0.2, so I might as well upgrade to 4.1 because I cant jailbreak it anyways.

Can someone send me a working link for the 4.1 download, I dont trust all the torrnet files that have popped up now on google search.

      Thanks.

A 3G just doesn't have the ram to support the multitasking or the folders to be honest.

So no you will never run this without a major lag!

I would like to see apple include full bluetooth connectivity to allow connection to other bluetooth devices for the use of file transferring. Will apple ever do this? I think not!

Isn't 4.1 suppose to make the 3G work fine with multitasking?
