  • iOS 4.1 GM Now Available to Developers

iOS 4.1 GM has been released to official Apple Developers, and to our delight it includes the mentioned HDR support for Photos.

Aside from all the bug fixes, this is an addition we are looking forward to. As Michael reported, Apple is adding the new HDR (high dynamic range) standard to photos, an addition that apparently takes "photo quality to a whole new level". All of which is included in the newly released GM.

If your a registered Developer and don't have to worry about jailbreaking, head on over to your Dev Center and Download iOS 4.1 GM today.

If your not a Developer, don't be messing around with this.

So I hear that this has "bug fixes"...........but what bugs exactly does this fix? "Bug fixes" tells me nothing.

      Here is a tiny hint.

Awesome! It's finally here! I've been waiting for a 30 page thread of people asking how to jailbreak the latest FW release because they upgraded without heeding the warnings that are always posted along with it! yay! Let all the idiots start posting. This is always fun. /sarcasm

I wanna know if I have my blobs saved can I downgrade back to 4.0.1 and like the other guy said does it change the baseband

& seriously guys do we need to start with the 'waiting for jailbreak', and 'when's the jailbreak', etc etc. I'm certain the Dev's know we're waiting and it'll come in due time. I'm almost certain apple is waiting with 4.1.1 in the wings as well. We should all know the routine by now...

edit: MikeThomson just gave me an idea im gonna go head and experiment on my spare ipod touch 2g and see what happens, wish me luck

well i never really used it much with 4.0 so im not too familiar with how slow it actually was.. but comparing it to the 3gs with opening and closing apps it seems pretty much on par
