  • 'BannerImage' Lets You Change the Background Image of Banners to Your Liking

If iOS customization is something you enjoy, then check out a new jailbreak tweak in Cydia today called BannerImage by iOS developer Bailey Seymour. BannerImage allows you to change the background of notification banners.

Instead of a preferences pane in the Settings application, BannerImage adds an application icon to the home screen that houses all of the tweak's settings. The tweak comes with many pre-loaded images that you can use:

The list of default options you have to choose from include:

    • Aqua shine
    • Aurora blur
    • Dusk
    • Graphite
    • Hex
    • Light linen
    • Rain drop
    • Sand
    • Smooth purple
    • Smooth red
    • Sunrise
    • Warm grid
    • Wood

If you're not a fan of any of the defaults, the good news is that BannerImage also comes with a theme option that allows you to manually adjust the appearance of your notification banners. You will be able to adjust the text color with RGB sliders, as well as choose an image from your Camera Roll to set as the banner background:

Themes that you create yourself can be edited in the future, deleted, or new ones can be added.

BannerImage requires iOS 6.0 or later to install. If you’re interested in giving it a try, you’ll find it for $1.49 in Cydia’s BigBoss repository.

      Not exactly.

Flagpaint automatically colors your notification banners based on the color of the application icon that you're getting a notification from.

This tweak lets you set images as notification banner backgrounds.

Cool, we need something since those scumbags at SBCoders never updated "colorbanner" or any of their other tweaks for 6.x and then disappeared.

Would this work with "diet bulletins" also?

      DB makes the banners thinner
