  • Meeting With Tim Cook Up for Charitable Auction

Want to powwow with Apple CEO Tim Cook and help a worthy cause at the same time? If so - and assuming you have the cash to burn - this once-in-a-lifetime opportunity may be yours. That's according to CharityBuzz, a web-based company that raises funds for nonprofit organizations through online charity auctions that often involve high-profile celebrities.

Facilitated with the help of the Robert F. Kennedy Center for Justice and Human Rights, a meeting with
Cook over coffee at his Cupertino, California office could fetch big bucks for charity. The estimated value of the meeting is $50,000 and the current highest bid is $14,333.

"Bid now on this unique opportunity to have coffee with Apple CEO Tim Cook at Apple headquarters," CharityBuzz says on its website.

The campaign kicked off this morning and will end on May 14th. Whoever is the top bidder at that time will get to sit down with Tim Cook and talk technology, rumors, product ideas... maybe even jailbreaking.

Yeah, I could not imagine paying this much for very little time with someone who won't remember me 5 minutes after I leave.

It's tempting to bid just so I can slap him in the face and tell him how he is single handedly screwing up Apple!
