The popular Gmailed-based iOS client, Mailbox, was recently updated to version 1.2 bringing enhanced features such as smarter snooze settings and swipe gestures to those lucky enough to obtain an activated account. The recent update to Mailbox is seemingly one of the more substantial updates the app has received since its launch in February as it builds on the title’s main feature of “snoozing” emails to check later.
One of the things the recent updates refines in the idea of snoozing emails further by refining the notification structure to include “week starts on…” and “weekend starts on…” options to the alert menu. Along with the enhancement to snoozing, the user interface also received some polish as swipe gestures now support multitouch, meaning more items can be selected for snoozes at one time, while a double-tap brings up a contact’s email address from within a message.
