'MusicWidget' Gives You Access to Your Currently Playing Track Via the Home Screen
Those looking for a cool way to control their music from the home screen should check out a new free jailbreak tweak called MusicWidget
by iOS developer Samball.
MusicWidget makes it so you can double-tap on the Music application icon to pull up a folder-like widget that will give you access to music controls, album artwork for the song thatís currently playing, and information about the song thatís currently playing such as the artist and the name of the song.
Because the tweak makes you double-tap on the Music application icon to open the widget, it wonít interfere with your ability to tap on the Music application icon once to open the entire Music application. You can still do this for additional music controls and more in-depth music information.
Exiting the widget is as simple as tapping outside of the MusicWidget interface, just like you do when exiting a folder on the home screen. MusicWidget doesn't come with any options to configure Ė just install and enjoy. MusicWidget requires an iPhone or iPod touch running iOS 6.
