  • Auxo 1.4 Released With New Toggles, New Features

The popular Auxo app switcher jailbreak tweak designed by Sentry_NC and created by iOS development team Ałtweaks has been updated Saturday to version 1.4 with new features. They're sure to impress anyone that already has Auxo installed, and anyone still on the fence about buying Auxo will also like the idea of the new features.

New features include additional toggles for Do Not Disturb, Auto lock, and a shortcut to the Settings application. These toggles can be enables or disabled from the Auxo preferences pane in the Settings application by dragging them in and out of the toggle list.

On top of the new toggles, the tweak now allows the user to configure the Flashlight toggle and the Respring toggle. The flashlight toggle now gets the ability to choose between tapping, or tapping and holding. In that, the user can set the flashlight toggle to a flashlight, a strobe light, an SOS signal, or do nothing. The respring toggle gets similar tap, or tap and hold options, which let the user choose between respring, restart, power off, safe mode, or do nothing.

Countless bug fixes and improvements were also added in the version 1.4 update. Those include a fix for crashing during audio playback, compatibility with LiveClock, a bug fix for a Bluetooth pairing issue, better slider knob grip points, fixes for additional crashing problems, and better speed and memory performance.

The update is free for all existing Auxo customers; however, those that are looking to purchase Auxo will find it in Cydia’s BigBoss repository for $1.99.

I think that's why you don't see an LTE toggle in most of these tweaks - because the developers understand how the iPhone works.
You sure? As I know, if u r in a "spotty" LTE coverage, iPhone will try to connect to LTE and thereby drain battery. Obviously if there's no LTE coverage at all, u r right, the phone is smart and will not use the LTE radio. And what about the 4G radio. At my house, I don't have LTE. It starts about a mile from my neighborhood when I hit main streets. That's when I turn on my LTE toggle. I use NCSettings which has a LTE toggle.

My information comes from an engineer person who knows iOS and Apple hardware pretty well. I am NOT an engineer. But it makes sense to me. Also. The majority of us aren't on the cusp of an LTE / 4G switching area - I would imagine in the time frame it takes to do the search there could be some added battery drain. But when the signal is not found the LTE receiver is not actively draining your battery.

There are some of us that want as much battery economy as possible - so I suppose a toggle could be useful. After all there IS a switch for it in the Settings.

Here's why: in my office, I get a fraction of one bar (I use the Bars tweak) on LTE. it's just enough to keep the LTE engaged, but not enough to pull data -- it just spins and spins. It's about as fast as EDGE. If I shut off LTE, it drops to 3G and I get four bars and it pulls data effectively and quickly.

So I use NC Settings because it has an LTE toggle. If Auxo would add one, that would streamline my phone because I could ditch NC Settings.

What 'Bars' tweak are you using?

Auxo seems to crash for me when I am running Slacker. If I double tap the home button then I just get the apple icon and the phone reboots into safe mode. It's sort of random but likely to happen if you have slacker running and your on the springboard, but you want to invoke auxo to switch back to slacker.

I'm not sure if it could be a combination of other tweaks too, like xCon for example, but the fact is the crash happens right at the moment Auxo should display (after double tapping home button).

that's what it's called. Bars. More accurate signal bars.

Search on Cydia. It's called Bars. It's free. Works on iOS 6.

I remember that tweak, now. The 'depiction' tricks you into thinking your Signal is animated (another tweak idea I'd like to create!) but, instead, it's just a static image of current signal strength.

Exactly I have 40 tweaks as well on my 4s.

4S and 5 rarely have the same problems with a given tweak. The hardware is different.

Another reason I don't see why people have a problem with Auxo.
