Firefox 20 Released
Mozilla has pushed an update for their popular Firefox Web browser Tuesday, bringing it up to version 20. The update adds three new major features, including per-page private browsing, a redesigned downloading interface, and the ability to close hanging plugins without having the browser hang on you.
The redesigned downloading interface uses a Safari-like method, which includes a pop-up bubble that can be shown by clicking on the downloads button to the right of the search bar. The download button shows the progress, as well as the time remaining for downloads:
Other improvements in Firefox 20 include better security, additional performance improvements, some minor bug fixes, and more features for Web developers to take advantage of in their Web pages. You can view the full Firefox 20 change log here
For those that already have Firefox installed on their machines, you can simply head over to the About Firefox menu to automatically begin downloading your update. You will be asked to restart the browser after installing. Alternatively, you can use the download links that we provide for you below:
