Apple Q2 Earnings Call Scheduled for April 23
Apple announced on Monday that it's next quarterly conference call is now set for Tuesday April 23, 2013.
The conference call will commence at 2 p.m. PT and it will be simultaneously streamed through Apple's investor relations page.
In Q1, Apple posted revenue of $54.5 billion and earnings of $13.1 billion, all of which was made possible through the sale of 47.8 million iPhones and another 22.9 million iPads. Despite that incredible performance, shares of AAPL didn't climb. In fact, they went the other way in response to Wall Street's anticipation of $54.7 billion in revenue by the iDevice maker.
Apple stated during the Q1 call in January that it expected Q2 to generate approximately $41-$43 billion in revenue, which was also below Wall Street's expectation of $45.6 billion.
On Monday, shares of Apple tumbled another $13.73 to settle at $428.91.
