FaceSlideR 2, the sequel to a popular tweak called FaceSlideR by an iOS development team known as Team MCT, is now available in Cydia. The tweak allows the user to change the slider on the lock screen to almost anything they want.
The tweak comes with all the editing features a user will need to get the lock screen slider that they want. Users can pick images from their Camera Roll, take new photos, or even wait for third-party developers to create sider icon packs. The new FaceSlideR 2 adds support for these add-on packs. If the user chooses a photo from the Camera Roll, they will be able to edit the photo to make it the way they want it to appear on the lock screen.
Additional features in FaceSlideR 2 that weren't in the original FaceSlideR include a brand new user interface, a new LE Face Engine 2.0, social networking, and a built-in Web browser. These features are expected to help make the user experience better than ever before.
All sliders created with FaceSlideR can be saved to a library so you will be able to pick and choose between the sliders that you create. The slide to unlock text can be edited along with the slider, making for the perfect combination of lock screen customization. Check out the video demo below by the developer:
